This uniquely geometric quilt pattern uses one of my all-time favorite prints as the background. In varying sizes, shapes, and colors, solid fabric blocks accent the front - navy, maroon, cream, yellow, pink. Intermediate sewing techniques are peppered throughout the quilt top - from long half-right triangles to fully inset circles. The back consists of two fabrics, the top two thirds a marble yellow and the bottom third a creamy white. A radiating, on point X quilting design plays up the square quilt shape. The dark teal binding brings out similar tones found in the background fabric and was hand sewn on while enjoying Mirror Lake in Utah's Uinta Mountain Range.
