This square throw sized quilt contains retro colors of caramel, pickle, light pink, and a yellow-white pinstripe. The geometric design appears and reappears differently depending on your focus towards the darker vs lighter fabrics - hence the pattern name. The backing fabric is a darker green with gold splotches that shimmer in the light. A yellow binding wraps around the quilt. A curvy “X” quilting design crosses from corner to corner in a light yellow thread color, blending into the background on the front and back but adding great texture. I quilted this at a quilt retreat at Camp Tillikum with a few dozen other quilters.
