Tiger Lily for Jack

This crib quilt features four blocks, each sewn together with a 90* turn from the next. Fabric colors include basil green, linen grey, yellow, burnt orange, dark green centerpieces, and a warm natural linen background. Because that orange print fabric is so soft, it was also used as the binding. The backing is a jungle-like design that pulls in the colors from the front. The quilting features a radiating X design from corner to corner of this square quilt. The quilt recipient's name, Jack, was hand embroidered on a back corner of the quilt.

This quilt was made for my first nephew and is the backdrop for a selfie photo each time we meet up.
