This king sized quilt is an epic mountainous landscape inspired by the colors of The Enchantments, a special place in the North Cascades in Washington. The clearest deep blue waters, the turning yellow larches, the thick subalpine evergreen forest, the granite rock, the fast moving fog, the haze of a hidden sun. A soft gray-white pinstripe runs vertically across the back. Extra wide quilting lines were sewn horizontally with a light cream thread. The binding was machine sewn. Each quilted layer is a perfect representation of this unique landscape - I love the river cutting through the landscape and the growing yellow pops of fall color.
