This small quilt features bold fabric patterns, thoughtfully placed to blur the lines between “scrappy” and organized. All the fabrics on the front are from the same fabric collection, while the backing brings a slightly brighter peach to the palette. Wide quilting in the shape of a curvy X extends from corner to corner. A soft linen binding surrounds the quilt and was hand stitched. Sienna’s name was hand embroidered on a back corner, solidifying it as hers.

This quilt was made just for my niece. I knew I wanted it to be extra soft and cozy, so I tapped into a premium bundle of fabric I won from a Suzy Quilts giveaway. The quilt was sewn with wide quilting lines to create an even cozier feel. I also knew I didn’t want this quilt to be too “cutesy”, so this collection of fabrics felt like the perfect fit for her to grow with.
