Machine quilted; hand sewn binding

Classic straight line quilting in a warm gray color blends beautifully across both the front and back colors. The colors were inspired by an early morning sunrise hike up to the top of Saddle Mountain in the northwestern region of Oregon. The sun came up on the other side of the Cascade mountain range and lit up the sky in gorgeous warm colors, while the valleys below were still dark with cool grays and purples awaiting the sun's rays.
