I have always wanted to make a greyscale quilt. This geometric quilt pattern was a great opportunity to highlight the unique shapes with a monotone palette. Bold, black fabric fill various blocks as well as the binding, while various solids and prints fill the rest. The black-and-white "+" fabric and grid are two of my favorite prints. My go-to yellow fabric creates a pop of color on the back. The binding was machine sewn with two different colored threads to blend in on both the back and the front (black on the back and white on the front). Long, vertical quilting lines add a wonderful texture.

I created this quilt while testing the PDF pattern, ensuring accuracy and ease of use before the pattern is released to the public.
