This quilt is a clever take on a traditional log cabin quilt pattern. The bright cobalt blue is a striking pop of color that pulls you in. The hand selected variety of prints are a nod to various memories between friends and draws your eyes into the center, taking note each of those fun designs. A bold black and white backing fabric is like a beautiful whole cloth quilt in and of itself! From top left to bottom right, a smooth bend of quilting stretches across the quilt. A raven was a symbol of friendship between the gifter and the giftee, so a bird tracks fabric was used for the binding that surrounds the quilt.

This crib quilt is the result of a lovely collaboration with a friend of mine who wanted to gift an overseas friend a quilt to celebrate her first baby. On the back, his name was hand embroidered in a clever location so the saying reads "Be brave, little Tobias".
