Ketchup and Mustard for Sadie

This quilt features floral prints and coordinating solids, with a pop of red to draw the eye around the quilt top. Cornerstones on the front pull in the two-tone gray backing fabric which features small birds, bees, and other geometric shapes. The bright red binding frames the quilt beautifully, while the contrasting gray, red, and yellow quilting thread add artistic interest on both the front and back. My cousin named it "ketchup and mustard", a nod to the condiment color scheme.

This quilt was the subject for my first #quiltsinthewild photo, in front of Mt. Adams, WA.
