Radiance for Scarlet

Scarlet's quilt is made entirely of half square triangles (HSTs), the first quilt block I learned to make. True to her namesake, the color palette is centered around the pop of red with my signature yellow and a warm cream. The red cornerstones of the quilt top are a fun twist. Opting out of invisible quilting, this quilt features a diamond pattern reflecting the design on the front. The sewn lines are extra visible on the peachy back, creating beauty on both sides.

This quilt was made for my brother to gift to his new goddaughter. The design was made especially for her, using a handmade design wall to help organize and reorganize the HSTs until the final pattern emerged. Her name was machine sewn into the label on the back.
