When a friend asked me to make her a Mountain Horizon quilt, I was thrilled to build this second version in a new color palette just for her. A gradient of teal mountain hues with a warm sun setting behind the mountain range, this quilt's vibe is so fun. The diagonal orange printed backing flows seamlessly with the peach colored binding.

A nearby apartment complex had THE perfect courtyard complete with rose petals all over the concrete walkways. Before the quilt was quilted with a modern, straight line quilting design, I took the top to Mt. Hood in the snow for a wintery backdrop of giant evergreens. This quilt now lives on a loving couch in Vermont!
