Triangles for Evie

Evie's quilt is pieced entirely of equilateral triangles. Knowing I could lean into a pink accent, this quilt consists of both bold and subtle shades of pink. Thoughtfully organizing various prints throughout the quilt top balances the color value and overall feel of the design. The rich pink binding adds a fun pop of color that ties it all together. Monofilament quilting thread creates an invisible textured look. Using pre-made binding for a crib sized quilt always generates leftovers, which was perfectly resourced as its own packaging.

This quilt was made for a close friend who was expecting her first child. I was thrilled with all the "points" of the triangles, boosting my confidence in my early quilting career. I couldn't wait to gift it.
