This small quilt has a true gray background that takes up most of the front. An arc along the bottom features stripes of fun prints. What makes this quilt unique is the hot pink thread used for the quilting, which echoes the arc through the gray "white space" and does the opposite inside the arc with evenly spaced straight lines. The back is a bold patchwork of complimentary fabrics. The hot pink binding ties together the front and back and brings out the hot pink accent thread. It was machine sewn on both sides with coordinating thread (hot pink on the back and gray on the front). Though slightly different dimensions, its sister quilt was created using the same fabrics and a different contrasting binding.
